Our Creative Arts & English Winter Camp is a 5-day adventure for kids ages 3 to 5 years old. During the 5-day program, they will learn and have fun at the same time as they spend their day learning about Science, Music & Dance, Art, PE/Sports, and Character Building!

MISSION 任务

We focus on enriching the whole child. We believe that each child is created uniquely, with different strengths and weaknesses and should be given the opportunity and environment needed to be successful in the classroom. LBA’s differential structure allows each child to develop confidence in their abilities and a love for learning.

OUR GOAL 目标

Our goal is to create a respectful, comfortable, and well-management learning environment where students are actively engaged in the learning process through various techniques and strategies. To promote this type of environment, we believe that consistency, organization, stated procedures, and consequences are necessary.

CAMP GROUNDS

All camp activities will be conducted in the Learning Beyond Academy campus, with all centers being in the classrooms and it’s other facilities.

LEARNING CENTERS

There are 5 learning centers for this year’s camp. Please find below brief description of each center.

1. SCIENCE:

Children will get to work with hands on experiments, observations & new discoveries.

孩子们会动手做实验，观察，并探索新事物。

2. MUSIC & DANCE:

Enjoy the fun of learning songs, hand-motions & body movement.

享受歌曲、手部运动和肢体动作带来的乐趣。

3. ART:

Discover a variety of materials and tools, learning creative expression through visual arts and work independently and collaboratively to complete the final project.

尝试不同的材料、工具，通过视觉艺术展现创造力，同时能通过自己并结合团队完成最后的任务。

4. PE/Sports:

Develop the kids' gross motor skills through exercises and stimulating games.

利用运动和刺激的游戏提高孩子的运动技巧。

5. CHARACTER BUILDING

This class is designed to introduce all students to the different character traits like: Respect, Honesty, Forgiveness, Loyalty, Courage, and Love, etc.

CAMP SCHEDULE

2019 SCHEDULE: DEC 26 to 31, 2019 (except for Dec 29)

Assembly starts promptly at 8:00AM, please make sure your child arrives on time.

* Each center is 40 to 45 minutes minutes long. Teams move from classroom to classroom. Centers change every other day. On the last day of camp, we will have a mini-olympics to conclude the event.

* All centers activities end at 1:00PM. Please pick up your child on time, additional fees will apply for late pick-ups.
