MISSION
LBA MISSION STATEMENT
We focus on enriching the whole child. We believe that each child is created uniquely, with different strengths and weaknesses and should be given the opportunity and environment needed to be successful in the classroom. LBA’s differential structure allows each child to develop confidence in their abilities and a love for learning.
OUR GOALS
Our goal is to create a respectful, comfortable, and well-management learning environment where students are actively engaged in the learning process through various techniques and strategies. To promote this type of environment, we believe that consistency, organization, stated procedures, and consequences are necessary.
SUMMER CAMP PARENTAL HANDBOOK
To ensure that parents are well informed of our policies, please make time to read and review our Summer Camp's Parental Handbook.
PARENTAL CONSENT & WAIVER FORM
Parents need to sign the consent and waiver form as an agreement that you are letting your child join all activities in summer camp.
CAMP GROUNDS
All camp activities will be conducted in the Jinqiao Community Center, with all centers being in the classrooms of LBA 2nd North Wing, 3rd and 4th Floor South Wing and sport activities in the Gym or at the rock-wall facilities.

LEARNING CENTERS FOR PRIMARY 小学学习中心 (kIDS AGES 5 TO 10 YRS OLD)
There will be 9 learning centers for our primary campers this year. Please find below brief description of each center.
1. SCIENCE 科学
Children will get to work with hands on experiment and be amazed with new discoveries.

2. MUSIC 音乐
Enjoy the fun of music through rhythmic percussion playing, instruments exposure, singing & fun music theory.
通过打击乐器、乐器体验、唱歌和有趣的音乐理论享受音乐
3. ART 艺术:
Discover a variety of materials and tools, learning creative expression through visual arts and work independently and collaboratively to complete the final project. 探索不同的材料和工具，通过视觉艺术学系创意表达，并且通过独立工作和团队合作完成最后的项目。
4. DANCE 舞蹈:
Explore what the body is capable of, learn how to control body movements, timing, flexibility, rhythm, and team work.探索身体的所能、学习如何控制身体的韵律、时间、灵活度、节奏和团队合作
5. ENGLISH 英语:
English made fun through story telling, learn the basic language skills, build up vocabularies and enhance their confidence in spoken English. 通过讲故事让英语学习变得有趣，学习基本的语言技能、建立词汇量并且提升孩子们口语的自信
6. DRAMA 戏剧:
Role-play, dramatic play, understand the myriad of ways to express oneself through drama. 角色扮演、戏剧表演、通过戏剧理解不同的表达方式
7. CHINESE CULTURE中国文化:
Appreciate the richness & beauty of Chinese heritage in games, art and more. 欣赏丰富的传统中国游戏，艺术等
8. PHYSICAL EDUCATION/SPORTS 体育:
Develop strength, discipline, and endurance through drills and routines. Be a team player and get fit. 通过操练和锻炼锻炼孩子们的体能、规律和耐力。成为团队协作者并保持健康
9. CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT
This class is designed to introduce all students to the 6 character traits that we are focusing on this summer: Respect, Honesty, Forgiveness, Loyalty, Courage, and Love.
LEARNING CENTERS FOR PRESCHOOL 幼儿园学习中心 (KIDS AGES 3 TO 4 YRS OLD)
There will be 6 learning centers for our preschool campers this year. Please find below brief description of each center.
1. SCIENCE:
Children will get to work with hands on experiments, observations & new discoveries.
孩子们会动手做实验，观察，并探索新事物。
2. MUSIC & DANCE:
Enjoy the fun of learning songs, hand-motions & body movement.
享受歌曲、手部运动和肢体动作带来的乐趣。
3. ART:
Discover a variety of materials and tools, learning creative expression through visual arts and work independently and collaboratively to complete the final project.
尝试不同的材料、工具，通过视觉艺术展现创造力，同时能通过自己并结合团队完成最后的任务。
4. ROLE PLAY:
Act out different roles and learn through imagination, drama, and performances.
扮演不同的角色，通过联想、剧本、和演出学习表演的秘诀。
5. MOVEMENT:
Develop the kids' gross motor skills through exercises and stimulating games.
利用运动和刺激的游戏提高孩子的运动技巧。
6. ENGINEERING:
Enhance problem solving and creativity through building, construction, and puzzles.

Camp Schedules (July 9 - August 17) 营会时间安排(7月9日-8月17日)
Assembly starts promptly at 8:00AM, please make sure your child arrives on time.
上午8:00准时开始早晨集中时间,请确保您的孩子准时到达。
* Each center is 40 minutes long. Teams move from classroom to classroom. For Primary (kids ages 5 to 10 years old), the class schedule is the same everyday from Monday through Thursday. For Pre-school (kids ages 3 to 4 years old), Centers change every other day. On Friday, we have a special pep assembly to conclude the week.
每位孩子会在每个中心上40分钟的课，在每节课之后到下一个中心上课。小学孩子(五岁至十岁)周一至周四的课程表是不变的，幼儿园的孩子(三岁至四岁)周一到周四的课程表每隔一天会更换一次。星期五的时候，我们会为所有的孩子准备一个总结一周的集会。
* All centers activities end at 3:00PM. Please pick up your child on time, additional fees will apply for late pick-ups.

After Camp Classes 营会之后课程
After-camp activities starts at 3:15, students will be picked up by their teachers directly after camp. Parents can pick up children after these classes end, depending on each class schedule. 夏令营后的课后班从3点15分开始，学生将直接由他们的老师接去上课。家长可根据课后班课表安排在课程结束后接学生。
Creative Arts Academy: Music and Art lessons.
创新艺术学院：音乐和艺术课程。
Class Time: Per schedule Monday to Friday 3:15 onwards Frequency is once or 2x a week. Group class requires at least 4 students to open a class.
课程时间：周一至周五3:15之后，具体每周的课时安排，可根据学生的需求以及任课老师的时间来制定。团体课程4人以上开班。
English Language Studies: English Classes
英语语言学院：英语课程
Class Time: Per schedule Monday to Friday 3:15 onwards
LBA After-Camp Clubs & Classes
Class Time: Everyday from Monday to Friday 3:15 - 4:15
