2. Notification

Decisions for admission are made on a rolling basis throughout the academic year as spaces are available. Parents will receive a response approximately 3 school days after all required application materials have been submitted. Failure to submit these documents will delay the process.

3. Assessment

All prospective students that were shortlisted during Open Enrolment, are required to go through and pass an assessment. Preschool tests are given at the end of April for the next Fall Semester. The Admissions Office will contact you to schedule the assessment after all necessary documents have been submitted.

Pre-School PK2 (2years old) and PK3 (3years old) Group Assessment  Your child will join a group of kids in a simulated classroom environment and will last approximately 30 minutes to an hour. This is important so we can observe your child readiness for school in their own learning environments. You are required to bring a snack and a water bottle for your child for this assessment.

Pre-School (PK4) (4years old) Individual Assessment is a blend - in assessment, with current LBA PK4 students and will last approximately 30 minutes to an hour. This is important so we can observe the children in their own learning environments where they are already comfortable and familiar with the routine. It also gives us an opportunity to see your child in a classroom environment, interacting with teachers and peers. You are required to bring a snack and a water bottle for your child for this assessment.

Initial Assessment results will be handed out on the same day followed by the final detailed result within a week via e-mail.

5. Results, Acceptance, and Confirmation

Students who pass the assessment will receive the Acceptance letter via e-mail. Prospective families should confirm acceptance of the seat within the period stated on the letter. Upon accepting of the offer, students will be on a 9-week probation period which will determine if they are a good fit and can continue education in LBA. It will start on the child’s first day of school.

6. Pay Initial Fees to Secure the Seat

An Admissions team member will assist you on the required initial fees to secure the seat.
