Easy Steps to Chinese (Grade5 to high school students)
For non-native speakers, LBA’s goal in Chinese is to equip each student to use Chinese language as a tool for communication and help them get familiar with Chinese culture and Chinese people’s way of life. This program not only stimulates students' interest in learning Chinese, but also allows them to be exposed to and understand Chinese traditional and modern cultures. This program focuses on training students' ability to grasp preliminary Chinese, for example conversation with others in Chinese, recognizing Chinese characters, mastery of verbal vocabulary, and reading Chinese articles and books at a general level. Learning Chinese language and culture in LBA helps non-native students to develop cross-culture thinking and open-mindedness as well.
