The message of the cross...

The 90 day NT challenge reading takes us through Acts chapter 18.

This weekend we are celebrating the resurrection of our Lord Jesus. On Saturday afternoon, through the evening, I will be teaching on the message of the cross. After the teaching and celebrating the beautiful accomplishments of the cross we will have communion together.

The message of the cross teaches us that: It is finished. The entire spiritual war is over. We are taught to pick up our cross and follow Christ.

Matt 16:24 NIV Then Jesus said to his disciples, "If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow me.

Luke 9:23 NIV Then he said to them all: "If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his (not Christ’s) cross daily and follow me.  

Come out on Saturday to be a part of the school of the cross. Let Elaine know you are coming.
