They laughed at Jesus...

Today’s 90 day NT challenge Matthew 10 - 12.

Get a friend engaged in this Bible reading challenge. This is like a hard reset getting ourselves accustomed to reading our Bible every day.  EVERY DAY!

Matthew 9:18 While he was saying this, a synagogue leader came and knelt before him and said, “My daughter has just died. But come and put your hand on her, and she will live.” 19 Jesus got up and went with him, and so did his disciples. 20 Just then a woman who had been subject to bleeding for twelve years came up behind him and touched the edge of his cloak. 21 She said to herself, “If I only touch his cloak, I will be healed.” 22 Jesus turned and saw her. “Take heart, daughter,” he said, “your faith has healed you.” And the woman was healed at that moment. 23 When Jesus entered the synagogue leader’s house and saw the noisy crowd and people playing pipes, 24 he said, “Go away. The girl is not dead but asleep.” But they laughed at him. 25 After the crowd had been put outside, he went in and took the girl by the hand, and she got up. 26 News of this spread through all that region.

How would you like to be remembered as one who laughed at Jesus?

Going for your miracle has the likely potential that many people will not understand or be able to believe with you. But this should not stop you from going for it. We do care what people say about us as far as it depends on us to live a Godly life. But when people want to laugh and make fun because of our Godly life then we leave it to God.

Hopefully God will gift you with a couple of people who have the same spirit and faith to join with you in believing God for your miracle.

This father was all alone but was faced with the greatest need of his life. Lossing a child is the a fear of any loving parent. This father needed a miracle. But when Jesus walked into the house to perform this father’s miracle they laughed at him.

The first thing Jesus did was to clear the room of all the mockers and doubters. A room filled with doubt makes it very difficult to believe God for the supernatural. Once the room was cleared the miracle took place. I suppose the people who were asked to leave the room felt very silly once they heard the report that the little girl was alive and the father received his miracle daughter back to him.

Let us strive to be a people who are not asked to leave the room in order for a great miracle to happen. Let our presence help faith rise for miracles to happen.

Believe God for a miracle today!
